LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

In February 2012 the Virgin Active Gymnasium in Menlyn commenced spray painting the roof. It was first painted yellow and then white. I am a member of the Gym and I noticed on 2 March that my BMW was covered with overspray. I had a new windscreen fitted by PG Glass on 29 July 2011 because of stone damage. All the windows, the entire car, was covered with spray paint.

The next day, 3 March 2012, I went to the Gym and spoke to the Acting Manager and he inspected my car. He informed me that his black vehicle was also covered with overspray. He reported it to the Manager and I was told that the Gym would handle the matter, and that they would contact me in this regard. The Duty Manager of the Gym asked me to get a Quote for the repair of the damage at Mercedes Benz next door. I went to Mercedes Benz and spoke to someone called Jaysone whose mother owns the Car Care business. Ockie van Schalkwyk telephoned me from the same business and sent me a Quote for polishing and removing the overspray on my car on 16 March 2012. I scanned the Quote to the owners of Virgin Active.

On 21 March Ockie came to my home where he commenced removing the overspray and polishing my BMW in my garage. The process took the whole morning due to the fact that there was paint all over my car. He did a very good job, and my car looked like new when he was finished. To say the least I was really thrilled with the calibre of his work. His assistant was also professional in his attitude towards his work Ockie himself is a pleasant person to do business with. He has a good work ethic and takes pride in the quality of his work I would recommend him for work of a similar nature.
